Look! No Hands!

I've been enjoying a new perspective as I get better and better at sitting up. Check out this pic of me on Daddy's lap with no hands holding me. I'm amazing!

Talley at the Track

Yesterday, I went to Hollywood Park with Grandpa T and Mommy, and I had my first race horse handicapping experience. Grandpa T was my beard and placed a bet for me on a number 2 horse to place since my birthday is 2/2. Whaddya know, I must be a natural at this handicapping stuff because my horse, Dirty Dish Mitch, came in second! I won $7.40 minus $2 for the cost of my bet. Not bad! I also had lots of fun looking at all of the horses and listening to the fast-talking announcer and shouting fans. You can bet I'll be going back as soon as I get a chance!

On the Road Again for Family Fun On the Fourth

Last Thursday, we hit the road to go to Reno and celebrate the Fourth of July with my O'Neal family. Daddy and Mommy took turns driving and I rode alongside my canine sister and brother (Pookie and Bubba). We saw lots of pretty green scenery and cows along the way. Mommy and Daddy said I did really well with the drive. There was so much to look at, I hardly had reason to fuss.

Once we got there, I had so many people to play with; it was nonstop fun! Grandma and Grandpa O'Neal got me some special toys and cute outfits. Here is a picture of me in my Fourth of July outfit. Don't I look patriotic and festive?

On the way home, we stopped in Sacramento and I got to meet my great Godfather and some of his family. All were impressed by how smiley I was. What's not to smile about when you're as cute as me and everyone wants to play with you? :)

5 Months Old!

Party Animal!

I love parties! I recently attended a baby shower in San Clemente for my cousin, Missy, and her upcoming baby girl, Magnolia; a birthday party at Zoomars in San Juan Capistrano for my cousin, Jackson, who turned three; and a birthday party for Joseph (Mommy and Tita Elaine say he's my fiance), who turned two, at Chuck E. Cheese in Diamond Bar.

At the baby shower, I hung out with my cousin, Oliver, who is just my size, but six weeks younger than me. We smiled at each other and I showed him how to blow raspberries. Then I tried to eat him while we were posed for pictures. All of the ladies loved our little show. Cousin Jackson's birthday party at Zoomars was also fun. I got to see all sorts of furry creatures I'd never seen before, including ostriches, horses, guinea pigs, llamas, and rabbits. Fiance Joseph's party was a wild one. So many games, people, lights, and sounds at Chuck E. Cheese! There were also animals at this party - namely a large mouse with a band including a giant chicken, a big dog, and an unidentifiable purple creature.
