Celebrating Mommy's BDay

Next year, I'm going to take a tip from Mommy and drag my birthday out for as long as possible. Mommy's 29th birthday celebration has been going on for over two weeks now. However, I can't complain too much since all the fun stuff we have been doing for her has been pretty fun for me too.

First, Grandpa Talley came to visit the weekend right before Mommy's birthday. While he was here, we visited the lake and toured Scheels (a 248,000 square foot sporting goods store). Both were impressive. Below is a picture of Grandpa T and me by the lake.

After Grandpa T's visit, Grandma Linda came to stay with us for a few days. While she was here, we went to the Nugget Rib Cook Off where Daddy, Uncle Colin, and Great Uncle Rory were working to promote Famous Dave's Barbeque. Famous Dave's pulled pork sandwich is worthy of a blog all its own - yum! See pics from the cook off below:

This week, Mommy's birthday celebration continued when Grandma and Grandpa O came back into town. Grandma O took Mommy and me shopping and then we had a special dinner and dessert for Mommy at Grandma and Grandpa O's house.

Check out all the candles on Mommy's cake! Looks like a bit of a fire hazard. I think we better start doing number candles for her from here on out.
